Policies
Some of our policies and procedures that may be helpful for you to know about beforehand are listed below.
PAYMENT
We use IVY PAY for all electronic payments. IVY PAY makes paying for counseling easy. It is a HIPPA compliant, secure, confidential method that allows payments to be processed seamlessly and protects your card information. With IVY PAY you can use any credit, debit, or HSA card. Payment is processed at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
SCHEDULING
We regularly schedule appointments on a weekly or bi-weekly, basis depending on your needs. This is a collaborative process that we will engage in together considering both professional recommendation and practical considerations. Most clients prefer to schedule on a consistent basis, having a set appointment day and time. If this does not work for your schedule or needs, we can discuss other options as well that may allow for flexibility in scheduling while remaining consistent in your treatment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend your session, please let your counselor know at least 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to cancel with less than 24 hours notice or without any notice you will be charged a late cancel or no show fee of $100 or your full session fee, whichever is less. If this occurs multiple times it may be necessary for us to assess your needs and look at other options that may be a better fit for you.
THERAPY APPOINTMENT AND THE CLIENT PORTAL
We utilize a system called Therapy Appointment for all documentation, paperwork, and communication. Prior to your first session you will set up your free client portal where all of your personal information can be secured and all clients can access and sign all intake paperwork. You can send and receive messages through the portal and rest knowing that the information is protected and confidential.
